Sony has released a new version of the game console PlayStation 3 Slim, an advanced graphics processor, writes Eurogamer. The publication refers to the Japanese site PocketNews, whose authors reviewed the console.

Chip RSX, also known as the Reality Synthesizer, resulting renovation was less than warm up and now has less power consumption. If previously it was done on 65-nanometer process technology, now RSX in the PS3 Slim version CECH-2100A (previous number was of CECH-2000) was created on 45-nanometer technology.

Central Cell processor in the PlayStation 3 Slim has not changed and is still performed on 65-nanometer process technology. But the decreased power supply, and the console itself is not consumed in testing more than 90 watts. For comparison, in the same test, PlayStation 3 Slim CECH-2000 consumes up to 107 watts. The average power consumption of the new version of the console fell by 15 percent.

Slim - a smaller version of the PlayStation 3. It is a third lighter and smaller versions of large, and also consumes 34 percent less energy. The first console PS3 Slim was released in September 2009.
