The management structure in the suburban innograda Skolkovo entered the former head of Intel's Craig Barrett (Craig Barrett). This statement was made by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting of the commission on modernization and technological development of domestic economy, RIA Novosti reports. According to Medvedev, Barrett will take over the co-chairman of the supervisory board of management of the companies project.

According to the president, the Center will be the Russian equivalent of the American Silicon Valley. Later it was decided to build a center in Moscow. General Manager of the project was selected billionaire Viktor Vekselberg.
April 29 Medvedev instructed to prepare and submit in May 2010 the State Duma a bill on the special status of the innovation center in Skolkovo. It is assumed that the document will reflect the "special economic and legal status" innograda. In particular, participants of the project is expected to exempt from income tax, VAT and other taxes.
